I can not seem to find a review of Dragon's M270 kit. I found a couple builds but no one seems to give an opinion. Any thoughts on this kit? The rocket cages look like that may be a bit of chore to build.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

I googled 'dragon m270 review' and found builds and reviews both. It's good to know since I have one in my stash also! Enjoy

Hi There,i recently built one of these and it was a DOG !,The cab and chassis went together with no real problems but when it came to the rocket system it was a nightmare.
In the plans it shows that if you assemble it carefully, the rocket pods will move in and out - not unless you sand and fit, then sand and fit again...and again...and again...AND AGAIN !!.
This was one of Dragon`s early efforts and i`m sorry but it shows, but it`s one of only two players making this vehicle (i can`t comment on Revell`s kit as i`ve never seen one) so i`d only recommend it to some one with a lot of experience and those who really want one in their desert storm stuff,as it tried my patience on many occaisions.
This is my personal opinion and is in no way meant to reflect on the Kitmaker Network.

The Revell kit is the Dragon kit with Bundeswehr specific parts and Diehl track, but missing the rocket pods.

I have built a bunch of them. They can be a little fiddly, but come out great with some TLC. The moving in and out of the pods is a gimick anyways. It is best to build it with the pods either in or out. There are many hinged parts that open during pod upload/download that are not hinged on the kit.
