does anybody know what chassis this sph is based on and if and where i can locate some drawings of one..i know Revell made a kit but its 1/32 scale..i want one in 1 35th..Thanks Ray

Camp Roberts, is only 10-15 min from were I live, Great place and tons of tanks!
They even have AAA guns,jeeps,halftracks inside too :-) :-)

According to Hunnicutt's Sheridan book, the M55 SPH is based on the M41 series light tank chassises (M41A2 and M41A3). I've got the Renwal kit reissued by Revell in their History Makers line. Decent kit that can probably use the AFV Club suspension and tracks to dress it up.

chassis derived from the m48 tank (loosely?). Definitely go with the Hunnicut info from above.

seems bigger though..if ya put model alsng side an m-109 or a m-110..looks way outta scale..but would be a neat scratch build
