Why is it so hard to find these guys? I need to find 5 crew figs for my whitewashed M10 TD and M8 AC, and have found 3 (the Mig M8 crew). There are lots of US 'tankers' out there, but they all have the tanker helmet or are partial figures. I have yet to find any pictures of M10 crews (or M18 and M36 crews for that matter) wearing anything but the steel pot. Makes sense because of the lack of a roof. And they have to look like it's cold.
Anybody have a line on any that would work?

Tomas, Thanks for the link. They do have some nice figs, but the wrong headgear.
Does anyone make a set of US heads in steel pots in 1/48? I know Propaganda makes tanker heads.

Hey Brett - check the "what's new' on Track48.com webpage. Squad48 is coming out with a figure with various heads. It's not much but maybe a start? --scratch that they're soft caps or helmets sorry.
wait! How about Gsoline:

Brett:
Tankers' helmets are not out of the question for M10 crew members. If you have it, check Steve Zaloga's Armored Thunderbolt. On page 283 there is a picture of 3 M10's late in the war and you can clearly see numerous crew members wearing the tanker's helmet. Hope this helps.

Greg, the Squad 48 looks nice but 20$ for one figure is a bit high, I think. I have that Gaso.Line set (used 2 figures on my Pershing), only the sitting guy is a full figure.
Keith, I have that book, just hadn't gotten that far yet Thanks! That will make it much easier.
The one in the back seems to have the same EECs that mine does (Gaso.Line set).
