I don't know why but the SA-8 always appealed to me. Back when DML/Dragon was putting out modern Soviet stuff, there seemed to be a pattern that whatever was in the background of one kit would show up as a kit in the future. I remember seeing the SA-8 on one box cover and waited for it to come out. Sadly, DML decided to stop making Soviet armor. I look forward to seeing this one get built!

I have always wanted this in 1/35th. I also want to do amphibious Russian transport. Like the K-61.
Please keep posted. Where do you find the plans in this scale? I want to scratch build a ZPU-4 on the trailer.
Thanks for sharing.

Pawel,
Have you considered smaller items like conversion parts for production? It would be great to see items like T54/55 engine decks, Large hub road wheels, BDD armor, cupolas,etc....?
I'd buy them for sure.......

I think that modern Russian missiles is hard and will be sold less than German WWII.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this one completed! I've wanted to build a model of the SA-8 for quite a few years now. I survived an attack from one of these back on January 30, 1991, so I have somewhat of a personal interest in these.

Hi Ron, you were in Iraq (?) as a pilot or so? Wow!
I can understand your interest of getting a model kit.

Pawel, what is the progress of your fine kit?
Also I found Cromwell-models´ 1/76 scale version of the kit.

Looking great Pawel. When do you anticipate it being ready to cast and ready market? Thanks for the progress report. "Q"

Hi Pawel,
a strange looking vehicle is this. It has a bit similarity with DUKWs. Great scratchbuilding! Looking forward to see more.

Hi Pawel,
oh 600 pics...that's a lot.
I have a pic from the nva emblem. And two numbers. First the 6111 and the 6315. The font for the numbers are:
DIN 1415.

My apologies, but I have no photos of any of the surface-to-air missile systems from Iraq. I am truly looking forward to seeing this beautiful kit completed!
