This is the first marine I ever painted. The figure is from Masterbox' "Bloody Atoll" kit and I chose a figure I didn't like to experiment. The marine wears a jacket in autumn camouflage and his helmet cover is summer camouflage. Meanwhile I gave his shoes black soles and they will recieve a washing as well so please ignore their imperfection.
Now I want to hear your opinion on the uniform because I think the trousers might be a bit too dark.

I'm not an expert but I agree, you might want to lighten the pants a little, maybe with some sort of "dust" colored wash.
