More updates! Preshading was done with a very dark grey. Also I put down the first layer of paint on the tracks which took FOREVER, but it came out very nice. The key was to thin it to a bout a 35% paint 65% Tamiya Thinner. Its very then so the tracks remain flexible but thick enough so that they dont let the metal show through.
My question for everyone else and it is very IMPORTANT.
How do you guys paint camo schemes with the wheels already attached, I have never done it like this before but can someone help me out? It would mean alot. Thanks!

It's coming along well.
How is using squadron putty for zimm? I usually see people use Tamiya putty for that.

it wasn't bad at all, you just have to let it dry for a certain amount of time before you can actually work with it. If you try to work with it too soon then the form wont hold but working with it too late, the putty will be too hard and you wont be able to mold it at all. Small sections at a time but it worked great for me

So the vehicle is virtually finished, there are minor things that need to be touched up and fixed and finished but unfortunately my time has run out. I had a funeral this week that made me loose a day of work and threw me out of whack. SO i have a semi rushed vehicle as far as the finish but I am proud of it. I think this may be my best model to day. When I come back home from school I should be able to finish the whole thing in it's entirety.
Thanks for watching, but until the next time.

Nice update. The paint looks good so far. The wheels look a bit drab, steel touches for them or wear and tear to show some steel?

Hi Sean - Great looking kit ! I liked the rust on the exhaust too, especially the shot with the paint bottle in it. Please share with us your technique for rust. I cant wait to see the dio completed. Keep us posted. Tom
