From what I understand the gun on this tank is just a shortened version of the German 75mm L70 KwK 42 from the Panther. The ammunition should look much the same.

Certainly, for a mid-50's AMX-13 you could very likely get away with Panther ammo. I'm not sure if the French developed new ammo for the AMX-13 later, say into the 60s & 70s, but initially I'd bet they used German ammo designs almost unchanged. The KwK 42 was such an effective weapon that it would have been a while before it was totally outmoded and in need of really different ammo. Now, if you are doing one that ramains in service somewhere, there might be really odd new ammo to keep the weapon relevant. Things like APDSFS-T or Hesh or the like, but initially, the German ammo would look right (especially if you can't find actual photos of the real thing).
