Hey all, here is the progress on the kit that will include the wall I showed you all a couple weeks ago. I have finished the second wall and the base. The flat area between the wall and the road will be a sidewalk, which will be made next. All the peices are loose and is why they dont seem to line up all that well. All joints are very fine lines when put together. As with all plaster kits, there will be small filling required to finish off the joint.
More to come when sidewalk is done. Let me know what you all think!

Hi Chris. I think the brickwork on the building corner is excellent. As I said earlier, when this is well done ... even more experienced modellers will want it, as it cuts out a lot of time instead of scribing the detail, and getting it up to this quality.
The cobblestones on the other hand, Im not sure of. They appear to be very large ... have never seen them this big. They also have too many bumps to be flagstones. Just my 2 cents.

Frank, thanks for the comment. The cobble stone does seen large in the pic, it is the angle I was at. The stone measures 6 inches by 8 inches in 1/35 scale.
Here is a pic with our favorite model to show the scale of the stone.

As said, excellent brickwork on the building, very convincing! Cobblestones look very nice to. On thing though: personally I don't really like the fact that the building and sidewalk follow the same lines as the base. I can see sizewise (is that even a word?) why you did it but it is a bit static. Just my $.02.
