Yes, as the military spread out and supply lines got stretched, the Japanese military has to use whatever fabris they could scrounge, but this was presumably less so early on. I want to do a tanker figure from the early 1930's. Who knows the color scheme? Thanks.

Hi Tom
My references record the 1930 Showa Type 5 (M90)uniform as yellow-khaki (typically a yellow mustard colour). This uniform was very similar in pattern to the 1911 style uniform worn during the First World War.
Further changes to style were made in 1938, but there is no reference to a change in colour.
Hope this helps you
Regards
Garth

Yes, it does. Trouble is, I've been able to obtain the second Osprey book on the Japanese Army in WW2, but couldn't find the first one.
