As I read the topic name and saw the pictures, I thought to see a rendered 3D-model.
Your info-text says, that your model is "real". Looks very good... like a real tank!
greetings...

This is truly amazing
What did you use for the anti-slip. So far I have heard of using Terra Cotta, Guido's Sand & Hairspray idea, and a build I saw in Model Military International suggested Cast-a-Coat
I have this kit on the way in the mail along with the Merkava IV LIC
I cannot wait to build this Merk III

This is one heck a sweet build.
One of the best on painting of the rear stowage bins that I have seen.
Excellent paint job.
5 stars on it.

Thanks guys for the kind comments
I'll try to answer some of the queries..
Jaymes, for the colors, I used Gunze Sangyo Mr Color, a mixture of Middle Stone + Grey + Hemp, the base color being Middle Stone, then building up the layers with the rest of the other colors in various combinations. The idea was to create a very light tone with a tinge of grey. Then i added MIG's grey filters(2 different types), to build in the richness of the color.... The rest was done with the usual weathering techniques.
I don't have the color codes for the above right now as i'm away from my workbench, but you can PM me if you want more info & i can try to give a more detailed breakdown
Chandler, for the anti-slip, over here, we don't have the "cast-a-coat" range, so had to improvise a bit. I used something similar, its kind of a stone-textured paint. Diluted it with water and applied over the surface; did it in 2-3 coats to create the desired effect. Tried Guido's hairspray method, but that didn't work for me.
Thanks once again guys!
Brandon
