Great work Paul, it's very characterful and tells a good story.

That I think personally is one of the most important aspects of dioramas. Not just the building or painting, but the story and the feeling they portray. You can have wonderfully painted and scatchbuilt models in a diorama, but if the positioning and the setup is dull it just doesn't look impressive.

This is very intimate and compact and gives you the feeling you are right up in there. I also really like the work on the horse!

What scale is this? Is it 1:48 or 1:35?

Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff, I've always found that we learn so much as modellers working on new things, and seeing our skills develop over time as we branch out into new areas is one of the most rewarding parts of the hobby I feel.

cheers for the critique jon !! it is a mixture of dragon and tamiya 1/35 scale although the later dragon cavalry releases such as the cossack set are a lot better quality with plenty of etch bridlery etc !!
