I would say, natureal brass colored.

The grenades itself have also nearly the same colors.

203mm Russian rounds were/are separate loading ammo. They are the same design as US 155mm and 203mm rounds. The shell is a solid color (see below) and the powder is a series of bag charges. There is no metal canister on the round.

It really depends on when, pre-war, GPW, or post war? "Painting" practices changed between each.
And, no, they do not follow US practices by and large.

I am in the same boat as far as GPW shell color is concerned and the image on this subject has been removed or is not available. I also need a link to see what the bag charge looks like. I'm talking about the Soviet B4 203mm unpowered track mounted howitzer
