hello! this is just a quickie in 1/48,
started a few days ago, the rust colour isnt as orange in real life, same goes for the onragey rust wash, need to finish washing it, then weather, then add wheels and tracks!!
first whitewash. stippled vallejo white over tamiya olive green, folloed up with olive green scuffing and dry brushing

Darn good KV you got there. Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to tackle the 1/48 hobbyboss t-34 w/ interior. But for now, I'll stick with 1/35.

You're doing great stuff with that 48 scale. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you didn't say it
Rich

P.S.- the last 2nd to last pic looks like the sides of my lawnmower

Thanks Rich! im quite enjoying this, but im not sure about my whitewash still atm. the weathering is helping.
you should really try out these HB kits, around £10 for a kit (inc postage) and these kv 's have a few PE bits,
the T/34s are good, especially the moulded in PE/Styrene part there are quite a few pin holes tho!

thanks for looking in!

Hi James, nice work,

Good to see a subtly weatherd whitewash rather tahn the usual massivly chipped versions out there.

The fact that its in 1/48 is even more impresive, to fiddly for me! (coming from a guy who makes 1/35 far to fiddly!)

keep up the good work,

James

Thanks James!
i thought it was quite chipped!
i must say after a day of oild and some pigs it looks better than it does here. maybe i'll play with the pictures so it looks like it does to "my eyes" when i do a shoot next!
ha! i'd do 35th if i was more ambitious with my wallet! although i did treat myself(treat myself, what am i on about! ) punished myself with a DML panzer 3. im looking forward to it, but am also a little aprehensive about being able to finish it!
thanks for commenting!

Looks great! Love the whitewash! What's your mud method?

hey Stefan!
mud is,
mig pigments;
dark mud
rusisan mud
industrial city dirt
just " bunged all over the places, and then i used White spirit as a fixer.
for the side with the "bits in it" i mixed in a railway scatter product!

thanks for your interest!
