Hello All,
i wasn't really sure where to post this. I'm planning on doing a big dio including an Abrams, Stryker and a HET. All together on exercise somewhere in a forest. My knowledge of US militairy unfiorms is limited. I know that these days digital camouflage is used, but are there specific differences in uniforms of tankers, Stryker crew and HET drivers? I don't want to look like an idiot and put the wrong crews on the vehicles. It is hard to find any modern US figures anyway and investing in the wrong ones would be not so good since all my savings went into purchasing that HET.
Can anybody please give me some help?
Cheers,
Matthijs

The uniforms can be the same. Depending on the time period will dictate what uniform. The current, digital ACU pattern was adopted for wear in about 2006. It became mandatory in April 2008. Before it, depending on location, the woodland BDU was worn or the desert DCU. Also, the tankers and Stryker crew could wear overall green CVC (Combat Vehicle Crewmen) uniforms, which are like a one-piece pilot-style jumpsuit.
