Looks pretty good for out of the box. Where did you get the road base from?
It can be fun to do one out of the box everynow and then.

the road base came from the local hobby shop he makes and sells them for cheap. Then I put some paint on it and called it good..

they are made out of resin and sell for $8.00...

I used Tamiya Olive drab I mix the paint 3 parts base paint, 1 part white, 1 part gloss, 2 parts thinner.

Looks great! It's the Academy offering right? I had problems with the decals as well when I built it about 10 years ago...

The road section looks VERY similar to a Verlinden one that I have.

The kit is about 8 yrs old so that might explain why the decals gave me such a fuss and yes this is the kit from Academy.
