some additional work in the form of extra scratchbuilt detailing in the cab such as dahboard , compas , gear lever , windscreen wiper motors on the windscreen top and cushions on the passenger seat .

grilles were scratchbuilt for the cab sides , and a load added from model railway items

the extra figure is from the matchbox 1/72 flower class corvette

and it is set in a base now

now onto base paintingt and final details

yeah noticed it after painting and washing may sort it as there is more to do yet ..

it is polythene though so a little more tricky than plastic

A really fresh and sharp blade should cut through the flash but you could also lay the barrel end onto a heated blade or screwdriver to melt it flush.

Nige

finnished !! and for a braile scale 1/76 and an old airfix i am more than happy with it , it was a pleasure to build

took me back to when i was a kid and loved building matchbox kits armour they were brilliant as you already had a dio base to practice on !!
