Dear all,

Hello, this is my first post on this site (or any other modelling site) so please forgive any slips in forum etiquette at this early stage...

The setting is to be around White City, late 1944. Probably the 77th Brigade under Mike Calvert.

The kit used is the 1:35 Commonwealth Infantry Italy 1943 by DML, with some modifications. I have perused some varied photos of the Chindits, but I would really appreciate any tips you may have regarding personal equipment or belt kit carried by these troops for example on a short range foot patrol.

Also I am wondering exactly what kind of terrain to sculpt-I like high things; possibly descending a narrow path beside a steep waterfall. Any ideas?

Click photos to check out some pics of the figures in progress.

Regards,
Laurence

I am using the same figures on a dio like to see how you alter your to fit the Chindit's

Heyup, cheers for the reply. I'm Not sure whether to go Jungletastic and splurge on lush vegetation, or something a little more scorched earth; bare ground, dust, tree stumps..or rocks round a waterfall.

That figure sculpt in the pics is absolutely ace-I love it. Gives me a better idea of how to equip me figs, although they won't be carrying packs or be accompanied by mules.
