Is it accurate to display the german 88-mm flak 37 still mounted on its trailer with its crucible plattform fully open?
I herd that this weapon could be fired even without dismountig it from its trailer is it true?
thank for helping me !
ciao stefano

Yep.
Seen footage on you tube from old German newsreels of it doing it plus a quick Google pulled this one to the surface. You should try using Google, it's good at finding things

hallo alan
thanks very much for your pic and suggestions i am going to try google
the thruth is i broke the seat of the fuse gunner in the tamiya 88-mmflak and i had to glue it back in a deployed position so the side of the plattform is not closing anymore so i have to dispalied on the trailer and with the crucible plattform open do you have any other suggestion about display this model?
It look incredible fro the photo was this a common practice?
thanks for your help!

Yes, the cruciform platform legs could be opened out and the gun fired from its wheels in the antittank role, though presumably not in the antiaircraft role.
