What would it really take to turn a Chinese Type 83 w/ 152mm Howitzer
into a S23? It the running gear and tracks at least right? Just wondering how much scratching will be needed? Ryan

About the only thing similiar would be the engine inside and the calibre of the gun........ They are very different animals

I agree with Chris. I thought the very same thing, then upon looking over the kit and doing research, there is NOTHING about them that you can use, other than the engine.
Sorry. Maybe a resin kit will pop up someday...or Trumpeter will do a 2S3?

Yes, thats possible. I read on an other post, that Trumpeter is planning for next year some russian/soviet vehicles. Perhaps, we have some "surprises" at them.
