I have a few questions about an earlier post. Could someone please explain the process of painting and inserting the Corn Silk "hair" stuff from corn on the cob onto a base for a diorama.
I have the Silk and am a little confused on what to do next.
Thanks!

I think the modeler used a fair bit of white glue on the bottom of each clump of corn grass- He built up the grass field clump by clump.
I've dried some corn silk as well- dries nice- can be used as grass, hay, etc.

My guess on painting would be either.
1. Soak in colored water/paint mix or
2. Airbursh dried lots prior to fixing it to the base.
Those are the two methods I'd use.
