A while ago I reviewed 2 new Officer figures form Accurate Armour that I got when down at Duxford for the day.

well I thought I'd make a start at them yesterday, so here's progress. I switched out the heads for younger offiers with caps. Only alterations I made were to add a stud to the holster of the chap without the baton and also added some rank to his shoulders.
Not the best quallity pics but.....


The other one I thought I'd have a go at was the original white metal Infantryman by Pete Morton .

The Jakrei figures are now available under the Wee Friends Label from Ian at Friendship Models and the original White Metal figures have been recast in resin.
I didn't want to do him as a Far East soldier but thought he might work in the later Italian Campaign?



He comes with a back pack but the detail is there on his back so with a little careful work to remove the shoulder straps for the pack you could model him without same.


A bit more work to do but you'll get the idea.
