This Figure looks very impressive indeed! I wonder is there optional poses? I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Dmitry Baev's work!
I imagine the NATO theme will be a huge success and I still think there is loads of room for many more figures of this genre in the market place!
up to date Canadian, British and israeli soldiers will be a huge hit and very much needed.More US figures are always welcome and the news of additional Italian figures is very teasing. Although it might be a brave adventure I would like to see smaller NATO and NATO alligned countries represented sometime in the future too ..maybe I'm already asking too much?
However If the next batch of figures are this good I think I can see a bigger hole appearing in my wallet every month

just saw this on planet figures from the manufacturer
"The British army will start to become in October. Today I searched for a photo of the British soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan and have found many interesting ideas (soldiers in fight, soldiers in camp sleep or eat, clean the weapons).
The Canadian army also will be made, but a bit later.
In my plans to make separate Internet-shop where these figures will be on sale. While they will be on sale on my site.
I will do sets decals with flags and emblems of various divisions for convenience of work of collectors with my figures. "

Looks like a very good start. Hope to see some New Zealand Infantry and NZSAS in the line. Looks like they will be in theatre for some time to come.
There is always a hope and yes we're not part of NATO.

I have contacted Dmitry, and while he doesn't have pricing available yet (at least he hasn't shared them with me), I have expressed interest in obtaining this line of figures for my shop. So at least there will be a Canadian supplier for these figures!

Hi,
I am ready to begin trade my figure in a month. Now I prosecute subjects of preselling preparation of the first figure.
I have ordered manufacture of patrol group the American soldiers in Iraq (2 soldiers in ACU, sniper/marksman and machine gunner).
Many people asked to make the British army. I have found many photo of the British soldiers in Afghanistan and I will make right after the American patrol group of 5 figures of British. There will be a going machine gunner, a torso witch will decorate some machine-gun tapes, there will be an officer and some soldier in fight.
To release will be the Bundeswehr prepares. I have decided to make both army divisions, and special divisions (КSК, divisions of deep investigation, fighting swimmers, boarding a Navy command)
There will be a Canadian army.
Works for me on it is a little put, but I am full of enthusiasm to do 70-80 new figures every year and to make so that each fan of modern armies could find for myself interesting figures

What an ambitious project Dimitri! I know your products will be met with much enthusiasm all over. Will you consider some modern (Quick duck!) Chinese soldiers as well? (

Hi there,
it‘s about time somebody feels the need to fill this wide open gap, looks very impressive what I have seen so far, well done !!!
What I do miss in general are figures conducting "day to day" buisness. For example, many of my friends in my model club and myself build modern AFV‘s like Leopards, M1 etc. The figures we are looking forward to resemble more soldiers being on peace-time activities and exercises. In my opion troops climbing in and around tanks are more in demand, please don‘t get me wrong on this, I welcome any kind of modern high quality figures but, for me, combat poses seem to limit possible variations.
But whatever U come up with I believe there will be some figures which I "must" have.
Cheers
Christopher

I've got plenty of pictures of Americans if you need any more inspiration. They are primarily of Marines in Iraq.
I can't wait for the machine gunner to come out. I've got a diorama planned that he just might fit.

Dear friends.
I am glad to inform you that have prepared for sale my first figure. This figure has 8 details (a head, a body, hands, base, a machine gun). Collectors I can use this figure both together with base, and without base (in a diopama).
In the next few days I will paint a figure for box-art, make a photo and I will start to ship figures to clients and dealers.
You can make the pre-order of this figure for my site.

Eventually the product line will contain approximately 200-300 as single figures and also sets such as .....
...but I am full of enthusiasm to do 70-80 new figures every year ..
A very ambitious venture ... especially at this rate oif release. Good luck with it Dmitry. Going by the intitial figure it loooks very promising.

The figure looks very good, and I cant wait to see your future releases.
However I feel I just have to say that 17 Euro is just too much for a single figure. Perhaps its the pounds weakness but at current rough currency conversion thats about £15.00. At those prices I sadly just cannot afford it, and I suspect many people may feel the same..? Perhaps one way to reduce costs is to loose the base, I dont think its vital to the figure, most modelers can easily make their own base. I hope you dont think im just moaning, but I feel I have to make these comments.
