hey there guys
this is minarts french cafe that ive been working on for quite a while now just got the motivation to try and finish it lol. this is the first miniart building ive built with a few mistakes on this but everyone learns from their first mistakes. for the cafe i have a big ambition idea for it lol and have currently wallpapered the inside aswell as made alittle shelf in 1 corner have made an attempt at ripping wallpaper as from damage of building being bit and part collapsing. i am going to try and rebuild the roof myself aswel :S first time like so hopefully goes well. plus trying to scratchbuild a lil chest of draws for upstairs inbetween the two windows still in making process atm. hope you like
sorry for quality its a camera phone lol

Hi Tony,
If it is meant to be a small town cafe I'd make sure there is something hanging on the walls in the cafe itself. F.i. brewers adverts, a deerhead with mugs. Something that defines the building as a cafe. Search google for classic french cafe and you'll find plenty examples of the cluttered interiors and walls in these buildings.
Looking forward to your next steps!

For your first attempt at this type of construction you're doing well.
As you move forward touch up the small things and this will improve the whole time. Fill in the gaps, touch up the wall paper seams etc.

Best thing to use on the seams is spackling compound. I use the one that is pink that dries white and place it on with my fingers then sand some but try to keep it rough like the brick. For the walls etc. it will depend on circumstances. Pam

As Pam mentioned - fill the edge gaps with some type of putty/spackle and sculpt it to fit in. That along the exposed brick edges on the back.
The 2nd picture has a bit of a gap along the front corner next to the blue. That should be filled in too.

These are tough kits and it's not a knock on the build. It's an easy enough step that can yield a good looking building.
Not sure what polycell is , but any putty that you can sculpt a bit when it dries will be fine.
