One more of my dios on the shelf posted for your enjoyment and your comments. I promise this is the last for awhile. I'm really glad I joined this great group this long holiday weekend. All of your kind words and encouragement really inspired me to spend alot of time in my basement bunker building. Heres the snow cat

Don, you have another winner there. I like the frosted look on the tank. It captures the feel of the cold nicely. What did you use for the snow?

Thank you sir! The snow was made from (get ready) thermo-plastic micro ballons. Little micro size plastic balls. They look great and don,'t yellow, but are a real bear to work with .

Another great dio Waterboy. I have heard of the micro baloons but have yet to see them in any of my local hobby shops. I would like to give them a go at some point.

I like the composition and the techniques look very well done. Snow is a very unique skill and can be difficult. You did it very well.
NOTE: I like the June 1941 diorama in your album. The figures and the armored car are great.

Thanks Scott. That Russian Ba-20 armored car is what started me back modeling a couple years back. Found it packed up in the attic with several boxes of old kits and started tinkering with it and the rest is history :-)
