Hello all,
I started build Hobby Boss Leopard 2A4. During first step I search PE set but for this type no exist.
Only exist upgrade set with some Pe parts. For that I started my upgrade PE & resin set for Leopard 2A4.
Also I rebuild my Bundeswehr tank crew which I prepare many year back.
I plan here add build progress this model with my new set.
First photo look rebuild barrel from Barrel Depot to 2A4. I make of rebuild part for this barrel as resin part and new Gun Mantlet.

Hi Miloslav
I'm not sure if I understand you correctly but did you say your making a 2A4 upgrade set?
When I build Leopard 2A4s I just use PE from Eduard for 2A6s.
I have been working with the PSM kit for the last 2 months and I have some improvement ideas I let you know via PM what I think.
Chris
Ps I like your Leopard so far. Could you please try to do more updates then your last Mexas build.

Chris,
I have also PE set for 2A6 but many parts I don't use for 2A4.
I make of set only for 2A4 (three sheet) and resin parts for 2A4. Maybe you can wait because my set is different as
PSM.
You can let my know who is good for PE, this is no problem.
Here is all photos from build MEXAS

A leopard 2A4 etch set would be useful, just make sure its at a good price, because as has been said 2A5/A6 sets can be used. As to resin items as well im intrigued by what you plan to include, also pleased to hear that you are working on crew figures. Anyway the build is looking good so far.

The big thing that needs to be improved on with the 2A4s is the gun manlet
I have two 2A4s underway and I'm planing a third now. I'll wait to get your upgrade set. for this build.
One thing about the PSM kit the side skirts are very well done and also the vent screens are properly recessed.

That looks well, Miloslav!
But does the set not contain chains for the smoke dischargers, or did you simply still not fix them?
If I am not mistaken, the slightly different gray parts are your resin parts? Quite a good number!
Very fine that you added the parts which prevent the towing rope from slipping off the hooks!

Looking good so far Miloslav . Including the barrel is a good idea. the HB kit is a inexpensive but great kit. Selling a good upgrade for it is a good business move it will sell well.

Very nice update....clean build.
Well, if we can't get an accuarate and fully detailed Leopard 2A4 kit in a box at least we have companies like Real Model and Perfect Scale Modellbau to make detail sets for a better end result.

Good job so far.
Mine is quite in a dead end, I can't resume the work on it.
I have the Italeri Leo2 kit with Legend Dutch Leo conversion and I'm stuck with their smoke dischargers.
So looking at yours may be inspiring for me

Nice finish Miloslav. I like it. The weathering is just right.
I'm doing a German 2A4 with the skirts, fenders, side armour and rear lights taken off. set in mud.
