Just noticed that Legends has released an update set for the ASLAV, includes turret armor as well. And perhaps a little more odd-a 1/35 kangaroo is included!

Hi Rob,
looks pretty average, they've missed probably 50% of the stuff that you get in the Mouse House/Arms Corps Models update set.. I know which one i'll stick with!

Just giving a 'heads up' Sam, ive no idea about the finer details of these ASLAV's. Perhaps a comparison review will be in order.

Intereasting release, The ASLAV is on my list. Im eager to see how it compares to the Mouse House/Arms Corps update set for ASLAV.

I've got to agree with Sam and say this is a pretty incomplete set and that is a hell of a kangaroo, It must scale out at 7-8 tall!

Nice 7.62 on top, but why no co-ax one yet!! Something Trumpeter still forgets to add it in their LAV's.
I might get it just for the 'roo!

Can someone shed some light on whats wrong with this set. Ok so theres no as much stuff included but can one use this set to fix up the Trumpeter kit, or does it not address all the accuracy problems? Id like to hear some specifics if possible.
As to the roo, its an interesting touch-who will do one in 3 tone Aussie camo

When will the sets from Mouse House/Arms Corps for the Trumpeter ASLAV be ready? I mean sets MA112 Bravo and MA125 Bravo.
Thanks,
Thomas

Rob - Check out Sam's ASLAV build and you'll see the differences, there are several other ASLAV builds on Armorama that have comments as well. There are multiple upgrades that went with the turret bar armour. Some depend on what time frame of ASLAV you want to depict.

We were just talking about Kangaroos in my Aussie Abrams Build log... funny how that is. I think I'll stick with the Mouse House set because of the extra parts ... I'd get it maybe for the different looking stowage box cover and the kangaroo... still like to see a kangaroo in flight then one just sitting stationary.
Thomas - Those sets are available.... go to the Mouse House website and they're listed for sale.

G'day Thomas,
I am working on these updates as we speek. Just need to finish the insructions, fix up a couple of moulds and they are good to go. Check the web site towards the end of next month and they should be ready. MA132 Correction and update for Trumpeter's ASLAV-25 will be ready by the end of this month. And so will the newly tooled Australian Pattern Water Jerry's.
Thanks for the comments team.
Cheers Jason
