I went and finished a little project I started some time ago. This one just needed a layer of paint and decaling.

It is the Academy Merkava Mk 2 with a few bits of PE added, Friull tracks, anti slip made from samd and white glue (before I learned about the embossing powder) and home made ballz 'n chain.
The decals came from a old decal sheet I got a while back.

I added the guts from a radio controlled tank, That's why some of the smaller delicate items where left off.

Still need to do a bit more finishing but I couldn't keep this from you guy's.

I'll try and get a better camera and add a bit more descent video latter.

Very nice build. The video was great.

The RC guts are from a Tamiya 1/35 Abrams that I got on the cheap.
It just fits with no room to spare, but it fits

I've never heard of the "embossing powder" technique. Can you tell me about it or point me to a link? I was thinking of trying very fine model railroad ballest for the non-skid.

embossing powder is normally used for card making. To make the powder stick to the model I covered it in hairspray. Using a small strainer I sprinkled the powder on the model. After removing the excess powder I covered the model with another 3 layers of hairspray to make sure that it would stay on. When the hairspray was fully cured I finished this process by adding a layer of primer.
The real upside of using this method is that if you make any mistake you can simply wash off the embossing powder and start again without ruining the model
