Hi

Quite often it's commented that if you want the best possible figures then you should buy resin, which I would agree with. Also we can't forget that injection modelled figures have increased in quality and animation that today they sometimes come close to resin in the detail and quality.

But, it's not about just about the base figure, even the best resin kits will look terrible with a poor paint job so I thought I'd post links to these great painted figures using just Miniart and Masterbox figures.

From the look of them none have replacement resin heads etc. and look "out of the box". Look what this person can achieve with plastic and imagine how good they would be with resin from Alpine, Evolution, etc. If I ever get half as good I'll be very happy.

I've heard this said before...

A great painter will make a mediocre figure look great.. and a mediocre painter will make a great figure look mediocre.
