As the title says, anyone know where I can get some aftermarket wheels for the Tamiya JGSDF LAV? The tires have all cracked on mine, as have the decals. As it was the first kit I made when I got back in to the hobby, it's be nice to have it looking good.

Hey Ken.
Tank Workshop has some aftermarket wheels that are pretty nice. They are product # TWS0086 and can be found here.

Thanks Pat, they look like just the thing. Their website lists several UK based dealers, so I will make some enquiries.

you would have thought that over the years companies would have fixed this problem with rubber tires cracking and spliting. L.R.D.G. tires and the replacements they sent all split. What the heck.

I totally agree with you on this one. it still puzzles me when companies do this.

Yep, I'd rather they just put plastic ones in. Is there any way of varnishing rubber ones, or something to prevent them cracking?
