Dear all,
I am currently painting a WWII British infantry wearing turtle neck sweaters. What are the colors options do I have apart from Khaki, Beige and Olive Green(?), any other reference where the Tommy's are wearing more bright color turtle neck sweaters/jumpers? Pls attached some reference if can
Many thanks
Allan

Hello Alan, the only other colour apart from those you have mentioned would be white I take it when you say Turtle neck you mean the roll neck sweater type white would be more likely to be worn by RN,commandos, or other attached or RAF crews. If you have access to the movie the Longest Day go to the action at Pegasus Bridge and you will see Lord Lovatt in a white polo neck he alledgedly wore hope this helps.
