Just wanted to show a small vignette that I'm currently working on...

Eight more figures are to be done and some more details and stowage
on the tank itself is also coming...

Not sure about the title yet, therefore the two different ones...

Hope you like it.

Sven-Åke

From what I can see you've done a beautiful job on your Sherman and it's dvignette. I just love seeing one of these with open hatches, let alone the bow gunners head sticking out. One little point though, the lenses of the headlights look a little to flat and dull. It could just be the picture but isn't all that big a deal considering the great job you've done so far.

Cheers,

Well spotted, the lights and a lot of other details has not yet been painted
so what is shown here only a half finished vignette...

Glad you like it!

Sven-Åke

Once again a fantastic build and I do like simple dio's and vignettes. Nice work!

Did you make the tree yourself?

I look forward to seeing the finished pics

Cheers

Sven-Åke,

Well done so far! Please post pictures once you've finished.

How about "Yield to Pedestrians" for a title?

Or "Follow the Leader"?

Or "Indifferent"?

Sven-Åke,

Looks like another interesting vignette with some of your awesome figures to complement your vehicle. Can't wait to see this one finished.

Thanks Mike!!!

Glad you like it so far...

The tree is a branch that I cut from a larger tree from Sweetwater Scenery...
One 1/35 scale tree usually turns into atleast 4 or 5 trees in 1/72 scale...

Cheers!

Magnificent!

Are those Preiser figs you are using?

Another question. What shades of earth are you using for your groundwork? Looks great IMHO

Yes they are from Preiser and quite good although the sculpting is
a bit rough here and there...

The colors for the groundwork is a mix of a whole bunch ov Vallejos
and oil-washes so it's not an instant "dirty road" color that I have used...

Thanks!!!

Getting close to the finish line now...

Three more figures and some fixing of details and it should be done...

Hope you still like it

Sven-Åke, absolutely gorgeous. I'd be lucky if I could create a diorama half as good. The Sherman's colouring is absolutely first rate and your photos do justice to the build. Personally I might prefer a darker base as the light wood draws your eye from what otherwise is a great scene.

Cheers,

Thanks!!!

Your idea about the base is good. Once the dio is finished I will give it another
coat of color and also a coat of semi gloss laquer and hopefully it will be better.

Thanks for your comments!!!

Everytime I see the images, there is something new to see.

You have inspired me to try and include some civilian figs in a dio one day!

Cheers

Sven-Åke,

EXCELLENT!!

This little scene is REALLY well done. There are only two things I can think to add. One would be a road sign that would give a location and possibly another part to the story of your vignette.
The other is something in the cart the girl/woman is pulling along the left side of the Sherman. Maybe a dog?

Thank you very much Mike.

Feels good to have inspired you

I feel that by putting civilians in a scene like this
makes it so much more interesting and believable.
The human touch is always something i try to build
into my dioramas.

Cheers and thanks again

The road sign is a very good idea. It will explain the location
for the viewer and enhance the story behind it. Brilliant

The cargo for the cart is being painted and consists of some
suitcases and blankets etc. So it will be fully loaded soon.

Thanks for the comments and good ideas.

Best Regards
