Hi Ron !
Thank you very much for the positive comments; they're much appreciated ! The figures and motorcycle are not attached to the base yet, so it may seem that the rider is about to "fall off" the cliff !!! No worries there, my friend, once the painting is done, the figure will be adjusted to rest firmly on the base groundwork . Cheers !

Hi Kenneth,
I can only concur to all the comments already done as i am late in the game.
Well done indeed, the scratchbuilding of the body's is marvelous, i'm really jealous.
You must have some good superglue o het the bird attached like that on the hand!
But follow JBA's advice, get rid of the lichen, painted or not, they are still lichen.
Please find something else :-)
Congrats
Claude

This is the sort of stuff I like, something special ! The birds add a lot of action to the scene.
But the figures are also superbly sculpted, I like your style and they have caracter.
The scene is stunningly composed, it's not always a tank that steels the show, proven by this !

Hi Kenneth,
Very original, yet natural, idea. I think that's what makes this scene work - almost everyone could relate to the idea of feeding birds, be it gulls or pigeons. I'm looking forward to seeing you put paint to the scene.
Just one thing: is the dio 1/35 scale or 54mm (size)? You mention 54mm (which is a size, not a scale), yet the bike is 1/35 scale. Yes, I know... I'm being really anal
Good on ya, mate!

Hi Claude !
Thank you very much for the encouragement; I'm really honored that you like the diorama ! OK, since your the second person to comment on the lichen, I've gone and removed it, replacing it with some new foliage . I'll try to post photos of the "new" base tomorrow for you chaps to have a look at it before I start on the painting. Cheers !

Hi Guy !
Thank you very much, my friend . Having wildlife in all my modelling projects is just a little quirk of mine . Cheers !

Hi Rudi !
Thanks for the encouragement, my friend; it's much appreciated ! Well, to be honest, the Zvezda bike is actually closer to 54mm than 1/35. I've compared the kit with similar motorcycles from Tamiya, Italeri and Masterbox, and the Zvezda one outsizes them all by a fair bit ! Anyhow, it's OK to be a little "anal" sometimes; I know I am when it comes to my figures' details ! Cheers !

Well, as promised, my friends, updated shots of my diorama before the painting begins. The foliage is remodelled and more groundwork added so the standing rider won't fall off to oblivion . Next step, painting . Cheers !
