Hi folks:
Just wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket manufacturer of tracks for the Heller AMX 30 family? The kit tracks are terrible. Cheers!

Phebus Creation has released 2 resin AM set of AMX-30 tracks(early and late patterns). The late pattern tracks are still available :

The Japanese company Gum-Ka offered a set of styrene, link to link, non-workable tracks, depicting the old chevron patterned type, but it was a limited run that was sold out seemingly within days. By the time it was reviewed at the Perth Military Modelling Site, it was already unavailable. It would be nice if they'd reissue them (or sell the molds to Hobby Boss, Trumpeter or Bronco). I'd get a few sets myself.

Hey DGA
I posted the same question just about a year ago and had the same responses. I totally agree the kit tracks they are God Aweful!!! Mine looked like they were half melted! With the recent announcement of Plastic track sets from Trumpeter and Bronco, and additions to Friul, maybe just maybe a set of AMX-30 tracks are on the horizon.
Are you looking for early or late style tracks?
I went ahead and ordered a set of the Phebus Creations resin tracks (Late style)... but unfortunately most of them had air bubbles in them and were un-useable! Given the cost of the tracks plus shipping converted to Canadian dollars I'd want to make sure your project is worth it. If you're adding side skirts then you may be fine as you can hide the ones with imperfections.
I can't comment on the early style tracks so who knows...
Send me a PM and I can send you pictures of the product I received if you want a closer look at what you're getting. I'd strongly suggest that!
Good luck in your search!
