Hi all,
Ive recently began a build based on the DML Aufklarungspanzer 38t and Im really impressed with the quality and detail in the kit. However, i wanted to place the vehicle with a named regiment or unit and not the 'unidentified' option that Dragon seems to opt for more and more frequently these days.
Does anyone have any pictures of these vehicles showing a named unit that they were in service with or a list of units that they were with.
Thanks in advance, Paul

Hi Paul,

Just to clarify, which Aufklarungspanzer 38 (t) kit you are refering to?

1. DML6294 Aufklarungspanzer 38(t) mit 2cm Kw.K. or
2. DML6310 Aufklarungspanzer 38(t) mit 7.5cm Kw.K.

Hi Paul,

Not much could be found on the web. Just got some (unconfirmed) info from other non-English forum that the assignment of 65 vehicles are as follows:-

Pz.Gren.Div. GD = 25 ab H.Za. am 27. Apr. 1944
Ersatz-Brigade GD = 1 ab H.Za. am 30. Apr. 1944
Pz.Gren.Div. GD = 1 ab H.Za. am 27. Jun. 1944
3. Pz.Div. = 25 ab H.Za. am 1. Sep. 1944
3. Pz.Div. = 6 ab H.Za. am 30. Okt. 1944
Pz.Gren.Div. GD = 7 ab H.Za. am 19. Dez. 1944

GD is Großdeutschland Division
Can't figure our what "H.Za. am" stands for.

Hi Paul,

Found a couple of colour plates of this Aufklarungspanzer 38 (t) for your reference. They are from Polish Publisher Wydawnictwo Militaria's Panzer Colours IV.

Im just deciding what camo scheme to apply when my build is complete.
