Looks like it's just in at VLS..

I used the ancient set on the equally ancient Tamiya kit waaayyy back when.

I see the PDF instructions and the build up pics at www.eduard.cz.
It seems there is a bit of carving away old tamiya stuff, but not inordiantely much.
Nor do I see any 397fold, need to be an origami-master type pieces in the instructions.

So has anyone used the set?

Is it worth it?? The Tamiya kit is cheap but by the time I buy a replacement turret, tracks, barrel, and etched set, I could have 2-3 T55's... sigh...

Sabot Rob we had coorecponede about the old/new set way back when. Any knowledge or thoughts?

Lots of PE, too much for my meager references on the T-62. It does add a lot to the kit, but there is some major cutting and folding involved. I wish I had more references so I could really see where the PE went and what the real part was supposed to look like.

Rob and Mike,

I have a couple dozen shots of a T-62 in a private collection. May be gettign back to this soon, but was wondering if there really is any desire (besides mine) for details of this to be worth posting.

Your thoughts?
Dave
