I've purchased this set Masterbox's German Captives 1944 and I was thinking of a small vignette to tie the figures into a small story. I was thinking of Berlin, but my problem is that the uniforms of both the Soviet and the German captives suitable for it? I'm no expert on uniforms so I would ask your help. Thanks!
P.S. If not Berlin, what do you suggest? I prefer something "city-like" vignette background cause it'll be a lot easier to do than say, dirt.

Hey Ralph,
The German uniforms appear to be suitably late war, they're all wearing short boots with gaiters and the guy with the bandaged head looks like he's wearing the M44 late pattern uniform.
The Russian soldier appears to be wearing the M43 gymnasterka shirt which was worn from 1943 on.
The only thing is that they all are wearing gear better suited for warmer weather and not the cooler weather in Berlin May 1945.
You might want to replace the Mosin-Nagant rifle with a PPSh-41 or PPS submachine gun.
Cheers

I just glued the Mosin to the fig before I even asked the question Is there anythign wrong with it perhaps?
Any suggestions on a possible location?
Thanks again

I think they're fine for the Battle of Berlin, not everyone was wearing an overcoat or Parka and they're are plenty of Mosin Nagants in use in Photos of Soviet Troops in Berlin Too.
