Hello
I am on a Trumpeter E25 and want to replace the tracks from the kit. To me they look like late panther tracks. Is there a set of Friulmodel tracks that I can use? If so what is the number on the set.

Thank You
Grant

Since I'm also considering the E-25 I quickly checked. No, the Panther tracks won't work. I have a CH track set for a G/F and the drive sprocket is much wider. For a King Tiger late track it isn't wide enough, but this you could try to solve by gluing a disk of the right thickness in between the two halves of the drive sprocket. I would check first if the KT track will work with the rest of the wheel and suspension layout.

Let us know what you will settle on, I'm curious too and it's always fun to modify these paper panzers.

Cheers,

John

If you want to replace the tracks one for one Atelier infinite make a resin replacement set that look good. They snap together and are workable.

It has also been discussed that the E25 might have used the Tiger B transport track as well, this would require the change of the drive sprocket to that of a Tiger B or Panther II, but I think they fit over the supplied sprocket.

The only stumbling block is this....
The Panther Track Shoes have "two" Guide Teeth each allowing a wheel to pass down the center.......
The Track Shoes for the E-25 have only "one" Guide Tooth (Dead Center),,
This is because the E-25 has two rows of wheels where as the Panther (I think) four.
It will take some "slicing and dicing" to work this out.
