I got the firestorm conv. for the resent Tamiya Matilda kit. Looks great. I have ordered it with the crew and decal sets.
Now all I read about the british 4 pounder gun is that it was useless against soft targets. So what did the ausis with it, if they can not use it as a support weapon and there are not to many IJA tanks as enemies availible.

4 pounder? Surely you mean 2 pounder? Yes - it was a under sized round against most German armor but did ok vs. Japanese tanks. The Aussies seemed to like the 3inch howiter armed version quite a bit better - it had a good HE round.
I'm looking forward to seeing the TigerModels Design stuff when it comes out to make variant specific models. Can you show us pictures of the Firestorm set -Is it brand new or retooled stuff from their line to fit the new kit?

you are right, I mean 2 pounder mistake because it was a 4 cm caliber.
