I'm getting ready to build my new 1/35th Sherman tank now. I would like to paint the parts of the interior that might be visible from the outside (including insides of hatches) the correct interior color. What is it? Also, where can I find good info on painting the crew figures correctly?

The interior is white except on the hatches. They were painted the same color as the exterior which is primarily OD. Osprey makes excellent books on uniforms, however, believe it or not the back of the figure boxes are fairly accurate. I'm sure that in additional posts from other members someone will direct you to a website or two dedicated to uniforms

Chuckster, I'm with Blaster 76 on the colours, I can only add that all of the ones I've seen in srvice with the Italian army were not pure white but a bit yellowish one, something like ivory...
