H,i I am looking to buy 40 1/72 jerry cans suitable for a WWII allied airfield in 1945. Who makes the best value? Is there a AFV kit that has a lot included, as that may be cheaper than buying resin? I don't think I have any other need for jerry cans, so don't think the effort of making a mould and casting my own resin is worth the time and effort.

Academy's Ground Vehicle set #1 (includes, Jeep, Kubelwagen & kettenkraftrad) includes about a dozen Jerry cans.

Leva Productions makes a resin set of both US and German Jerry cans; in singles and some in groups. I do not know how many are included in each set, but you can always email them and ask. They have an email link at the very bottom of the page.

Thanks Sabot- I could actually use the Academy Jeep from that set with the diorama I have in mind. However, the jerry cans don't look that great- especially the lack of handles (pretty tiny in this scale, I know).

Unfortunately, Leva don't have a distributor in the UK.

I have found ExtraTECH have packs of 10 cans, and they have etched handles and caps:
