Anyone out there into making signs? I'm always looking for accurate signage for the buildings in my kit line so I thought I'd touch base here to see if anyone here is into that.
What I'm looking for is WWII era signs from France, Germany & Russia. Not so much advertisements (like soda or cigs) but the types of signs you would see on retail establishments, hotels, factories etc. You know, names of bars, grocery stores and so on.
The signs need to have period accurate fonts, correct spelling and accurate "layout" & colors for the era.
If anyone is into modern Iraqi stuff & could help w/signs that would be great too. I'm thinking of doing a small retail block w/a grocery store, video rental & an apartment perhaps.
There's not much money involved but I'd sure be glad to trade you some kits for your efforts. If you think you could help contact me off list.

i usualy search the net " old french signs is a good start " remember anything before your chosen date is valid ( because mostly they were enamel or painted and less vandals )
then re size required signs to your desired size enamel can be printed on glossy photo paper anything with a matt finnish onto normal paper
the only hassle is finding straight on photographs although there are sites that do it !!
