"This" is a

SdKfz 251/22 mittlere Schützenpanzerwagen (7.5cm PaK40), Gerät 922

No comapny make them OOB IIRC, but a number do make conversions.
basically an Sd.Kfz 251 with a Pak 40 / L46 bolted on.

Apparently JP models makes a conversion (see this link) . Others are MR Models

I think I have seen others, but do not know where...
the other option is to scratchbuild the conversion yourself, if you feel up to it. With the Pak 40 and Sd.Kfz 251 both available, this should be possible.

take a look here or here to see a list of all the variants of the Sd.Kfz 251. When on the Panzermodellbau site, go to "Referenzen" then Sd.Kfz nummern". The didvsional symblos might be unclear, as it is illegal IIRC in Germany to portray Swastika's and certain (Waffen)-SS symbols. (Nope, they are supposedly not even included in the kits).

One of my dreams is to have the whole Sd.Kfz 251 series and the whole Panzer IV series (including variants) complete (which would amount to about 40 -45 vehicles total).

Looking at the rather heavy detail of the MG-42 machine gun, that might be one of the 1/72 scale kits produced by ESCI or Hasegawa. Like the others said, I'm not sure if one is readily available in 1/35 or not.

So I could just get a German halftrack and then Glue my assembled PAK 40 inside?

Not being an expert and all, my guess is some things in the interior of the vehicle would differ., nor how the gun was mounted. As I only know what the vehicle is, and not what makes it different from a normal 251/1 I do not know. But the major components are a 251/1 and a Pak 40

So with a model of a 251/1 Ausf D, a Pak 40 / L46, good reference and some scratchbuilding skills, my guess would be one should be able to do it.

First go to this link, there are two pitures of this vehicle there, and a description.

Doing this conversion, and adding Aber PE should be a lot of fun....

HA! Small World. Well, At least last years Nordic Con has finally made a DG...

...Well, I was there and I spoke to the gentelman who actually built the kit. It is NOT the hasegawa 1/72 kit but is a short-production resin kit by a company I do not know of. He said the Hasegawa kit, while it makes a good representation, is a rather prro kit otherwise. I have the Hasegawa kit and I do not think it is all that bad, but I am not a braille-scaler, so I am not that anal about the kit. I have also not built it yet, so...

as for 1/35, Fine Scale Modeler had a article on this conversion about 5 years ago or so. It gave teh basics of how the Pak was mounted, and with what little research I have done, it looks accurate. Not too hard to do either..

The conversion from MR Modelbau is supposed to be accurate, but expensive, like US$50 or so. Other conversions excape me other than the ancient DES one that I sold off instead of keeping.

My advice, find the FSM article and scratchbuild it...it is what I plan to do.

Hmmmm...I was reading a review just last night of the 1/72 Hasegawa 251/22 at On the Way! (all he does is 1/72 scale armor) and he seemed to be of the opinion that the Hasegawa kit was about the best one on the market. Guess it takes all kinds...
