none were from average IEDs....they're VBIED (Vehicle Born IED or suicide drivers). like i said i have a ton of pics. i'm about to post some from the Invasion in 03.

Who were you with in '03? I was a doc with Alpha 1st LAR for the march up and then with TF Scorpion until we were relieved by a brigade from the 82nd and the Polish 10th Armored Brigade. Sure looks like we chewed some of the same dirt!

Yea Doc i was with 2nd LAR in 03...pushed up to Tikrit and back down. and we definately chewed the same dirt..

Tony, some excellent pics! I hope that the pics of the burnt out LAV's the crew got out ok. How about the one where it tipped over in the canal? Looks like they were chasing some bad guys. I have a couple pics of some Abrams in the water. Can't imagine the recovery nightmare with that or any of them for that matter. Thanks for sharing. Semper Fi.
