I really applaud Trumpeter for all the modern subjects they are doing... I just wish they would commission a better sculptor for their figures. They are not total crap, but they're just not up to the latest standards in figures.
Keep up the good work, Trumpeter

Do you know where I would be able to purchase the modern Germans? I am working on a Marder 1A2 and would like to display it with the rear hatch open and the infantry exiting.
TIA

Well, these are not out yet. They're supposed to be released in December. It probably won't be until JAN or FEB before we see them in stores

Hi Hisham do you have any pictures of the actual figures themselves and not just the box art?
The box art looks promising, but as you say bad sculpting can often let a nice concept down.

Jon, I'm afraid they don't have pics of the actual figures yet, but my comment was based on their two PMC figure sets that were released lately. Let's hope these turn out better.

Thanks,
But the elite site is gone and DOLP-Modellbrau is not in English or Spanish. Do you know how to translate the information for ordering?

Elite Modellbau is at http://www.elitemodell.de. There have been a couple of prior threads about modern German figures.
The Marder 1A2 was in use in 1989 when this picture was taken. Plain green uniforms and still using the G3 rifle.

Thanks guys. I already have my local hobby shop locked on and ready to recieve in March, when the kits will be released. Picked up a local modelling group invite, as well.
