Hello!
Just wanted to show my latest project...
Everything is scratchbuilt except for the drilling machine
and the air-compressor and the posters on the wall came out
of my printer on thin self adhesive paper which turned out
quite well once they were coated with some matt...
I really shouldn't spend to much typing here since the largest
model-competition in Sweden is this weekend and I have too much
left to do... Lucky me the latest I can turn in the models is
at noon on Saturday so there should be plenty of time to finish
the tank and some figures ( I hope )...
Cheers
Sven-Åke

Holy moly, that is some great detail work there Sven, it looks really convincing. If the tank turns out as good as the shop then you should do a feature about it! I'm really impressed. Now, get off of the pc and get 'er done!

Damn! I always make the same mistake with your work and think it's in 1/35
Great work and great attention to detail
What company makes the drilling machine and compressor?

Excellent work!
A sidenote, though. Fort Knox is in the state of Kentucky, not Michigan.

Just another proof of my deteriorating short term memory Yoni
Checked the references at work and thought to myself, ha that's easy to remember...
So I did NOT write it down and once home I typed what was in my head and there
is no explanation for how that Michigan got mixed up inside my head...
Well thanks for pointing it out!!!
Cheers

Thanks Hisham
Always fun to play tricks with you
The Compressor and Drill comes from Goffy and they are quite nice...
The packaging could be better because many of the parts were brokne
when they reached my mailbox

Thanks Sebastian!!!
I've packed it in for today since I feel it's time to give up when I dropped the
same little piece och plastic on the floor for the 39th time
Tomorrow is however a new day and then I'm back in the saddle again
Glad you like it!!!
Cheers

No, there's only the walls for the room which the door leads to so the entire
back of the dio is painted matt black...

Very nice. Great attention to detail.
Touches my heart - I was there 40 years later and things were about the same (except Holder).
LOL
Edit: Could use a figure or two for scale...

Could use a figure or two for scale...
Thanks!!!
I will try to do atleast two figures but since I'm on a tight schedual
with the competition only two days away I might skip the figures
just to be able to finish it but I do agree that figures will help the
scene both scalewise and also bring more life to it...
Best Regards
