Today i bought some figures for my waterloo dio im going to make, i bought 2 airfix packs, british infantry waterloo and french infantry waterloo, and italeri french line/guard artillery, and to be blunt, the airfix figs are crap. soft plastic, left over plastic from the molds, and most of the guns are bent where as the italeri figs are very solid hard plastic, great detail and all round perfect, has anyone else noticed this? cheers

Yes, I have seen that happen with 1:72 scale figures from Airfix. Anything that small produced in soft plastic is bound to be deformed. I prefer the likes of Italeri and other manufacturers who use harder plastic for their figures. If you want to straighten the barrels you could try to submerge them in hot water.

yeah italeri is MUCH better, i will use them from now on, with this straightening barrels in hot water, how hot, boiling hot, do you need to bend the barrels by hand or will they just go back into shape by themselves? cheers
