Hi Tony,
While looking for some info about the kit, I came across this review of the kit you may find useful: DML #6120 US Infantry 2nd Armoured Division (Normandy 1944)
Now with regards to your painting questions, the best I can offer is this link as a rough guideline: http://www.hat.com/ColorsWWII.html
The webbing would be as the normal ETO canvas gear, but the camo fatigues... not quite sure... perhaps an adaptation of the PTO Marines camo of the same time?
I read a posting on one of the other figure sites about this particular camo but for the life of me I can't remember which site, nor can I find it. When I get home I'll have another look-see - I do recall one of the posters names so if all else fails I'll shoot him a mail and ask him to comment here

Hi Anthony, this is one uniform I have yet to paint but am eager to do. Being that acrylic and enamel hobby paint manufactures label their paints by color title and number, a conversion chart comes in handy. My experience with painting uniforms regardless of brand, title/number(#) is to choose a color match by what my eye see's. "Close enough is good enough" What brand paint are you using ?
