Is there some way to get a hold of just the antenna? Have seen it in many sets, but those solutions are way to expensive for my budget.

Any help on the subject is greatly appreciated!

Thomas,

You could just try to scratch build it. These pictures are from Prime Portal. Some BFT Pictures

I've scratched one in 1/72 scale, so you should be able to in 1:35.

Scratchbuilding isn't really my strongest side, and it isn't boxed in like that on Humvees (forgot to mention what vehicle it's supposed to be mounted on)

Thomas,

Yes, that does make it a bit different. Is this the one you mean (picture from Prime Portal)?

If I was to scratch build it, I would cut out various thickness plastic sheet to match the different stepped shapes, topped with a round disk. I would probably scribe the blanked holes on the side, and finally add the phenolic electrical connector made up from plastic rod and wire or taken from a spare parts kit. The mounting plate could be fashoned from thin plastic sheet or from spare photoetch or thick aluminum sheet, with bolt heads from Grant Line.
What do you think?
