I just picked up Italeri's Crusader Mk. III AA Mk. I, the one with the open top turret and the 40mm Bofors gun.
I've only seen a couple of photos of the vehicle, the one that the box art is based on:
and the one on this site:
Crusader Mk. III
I have the old Airfix book on the Crusader and I've Googled but haven't found any other photos or info.
Anyone got any further references ?
Cheers and HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE !!!

Hi John,
Glad to see you've got the photographs figured, look forward to the build. My preference is for this one without the shield.
It's also the perfect excuse to do a couple more AVREs
Now if someone would care to do some Brits and bikes!!!
Al

Hey Al,
Thanks, can't say I've seen that shot before.
Got any more ???
I've got the Bronco AVRE on order, it might make an interesting diorama !!!

Hi John,
I assume you mean the AFV Club AVRE? These are the Mk IV with the cast turret, so you'd need the Conversion Set or sit back and see if AFV bring out a Mk IV version which is quite possible.
An interesting dio indeed. I don't have any others of this particular version of the 40mm that I can think of, but I'll check.

Hey Al,
OOPS, sorry about the mix up, I've picked up or ordered a number of AFV Club and Bronco recently and can't keep them straight in my olde grey head !!
Yeah, I spotted the cast turrets in your photo.
As I seem to be developing an aversion to resin conversions of late, I'll probably take the lazy route and wait for AFV Club to fill the void.
Cheers
