Well I am pretty new to during dio's, so bear with me. But I would love to hear any feedback that anyone would like to give.

Nice project for your second one.
You have a lot of great ideas that will show really well with a bit of adjusting.
The road is a nice start with the rocks as cobbles. If you fill in the road with some spackle and blend it out. Then color the spackle a browish/tan for dirt it will make the road a lot better.
The sandbag - well the idea is really good, the Tamiya bags are just so 'static' and rigid. Bags are easily made with sculpy (bakable clay). I'd go with something like that for extra armor.
Instead of gluing you figures to a base then placing the base use a wire. Drill a hole in the bottom of the foot, then a matching one in the base and slide in a thin wire. Add a bit of glue and your figure placement will look much more realistic.
Look to have all your pieces 'integrate' into the project instead or being 'on' the project.
Nice start.

Thanks for the great ideas Scott I really appreciate the feedback. I used Spackle to hold the rocks down and tried for the right color. Just did not get it dark enough I guess.
great idea about using wire. since was was my second one I wanted to be able to move things around without gluing everything to the base. But the wire is a great idea, the whole base is made of pink hard foam and the building is foam-core. So that will work great.
Thanks for the feedback that is a great help.
